Job Summary
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for creating, updating, and applying all Human Resource policies as well as company guidelines. He/she will maintain the company’s compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Produce internal documents (offer/termination letters, salary adjustments, and disciplinary action)
· Ability to accurately convey new policies/procedures to team members
· Ability to be able to properly collect and record data
· Ability to comply with local, state, and federal laws
· Strong organizational and attention to detail skills
· Ability to create a recruitment plan to maintain production needs
· Ability to maintain digital/physical files for employees (documents, attendance, benefits)
· Effective time management skills
· Ability to address employee grievances
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Paylocity
· Willingness to work as a team member, recognizing and encouraging other team members
· Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required
· Bachelor’s degree in human resources or master’s degree in human resources management preferred
· Minimum five (5) years prior human resources experience
Physical Requirements
· Prolonged periods of sitting
· Standard forty (40) hour work week with additional time as needed to meet company objectives
· Ability to access and navigate each department at the organization’s buildings to include walking to and from offices/building sites, and climbing/descending stairs
· Ability to hear and react to audible alarms from distances up to 150 feet
· Ability to lift/carry up to fifty (50) pounds
Environmental Requirements
· Medical and non-medical plastics component manufacturing requires employees to wear suitable protective clothing and safety equipment for part handling to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
· Ability to adapt to working areas that are modular, adequately lit, supported with equipment and suitable furniture, and temperature controlled (between 68°F and 79°F) or other areas equal to that of the outside temperature within 10 degrees plus/minus
· Ability to tolerate fumes and particulates generated from molded plastics, and general-purpose chemicals used for cleaning/maintenance
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $57,000.00 – $67,000.00 per year
