Sony Corporation of America (SCA), is seeking a Contract Recruiter to join our HR team for approximately 6 months.
This role will drive the recruitment process from the development of the position description through to the offer, supporting our Global Information Security Department (GISD) team. This position will develop various solutions for identifying and attracting diverse talent. The Recruiter will work directly with hiring managers and the talent acquisition team.

Job Responsibilities
Manage the full life cycle recruiting for positions including sourcing, screening, candidate presentation, interviewing, and negotiating offers
Develop sourcing plans for identifying the diverse applicant pool using internal and external resources. Internal sources would include Sony’s online job postings and employee referrals. External sources would include networking groups, social media, and outside agencies on select positions
Maintain a talent pipeline of qualified active and passive candidates by proactively using creative sourcing strategies, both internally and externally, to identify and attract competitive candidates. This can be done via LinkedIn, college & external job boards, community network events, referrals, internal employees, online resources, etc.
Manage the candidate experience through seamless execution of the interview process to ensure a superior candidate experience
Maintain up-to-date job descriptions and revise when appropriate
Work with hiring managers and members of the Talent Acquisition team to strategize the best possible solutions for identifying successful candidates
Conduct in-depth screens and assess potential candidates for the level of interest, qualifications, compensation and develop a pipeline of hard-to-find passive talent through your understanding of the business and employee value proposition
Provide metrics to Sony HR management on recruitment activities to identify opportunities for improvement in talent acquisition processes
Successfully manage and maintain a dynamic interview schedule to support hiring
Work with the various teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new employees
Job Qualifications
4-6 years of full lifecycle recruiting experience
Experience recruiting for Information Security and Technology is required
Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and LinkedIn Recruiter is required
Knowledge of Talent Acquisition reporting
Must be responsive and focused on the quality of hire while maintaining a sense of urgency to meet all client needs
Ability to work well with others as a team player
Strong verbal and written communication skills are required
Proficient knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
