Source One Financial Corporation is a motor vehicle finance company located in Braintree, MA with 25 employees. We seek a multi-disciplined operations manager.
The Operations Manager is the principal resource for customers, employees and others for any question or decision they may have about loan origination, service, or collections. The duties are varied and require maturity, reasoned decision making and excellent written and verbal communication skills. The position will interface with customers, employees, contactors, insurance companies, lawyers and vendors. The operations manager must be well versed in accounting & finance, compliance and regulation, insurance claims, service contract administration, and negotiation with customers. This leadership position will interact with owners, CFO, banks, regulators and outside professionals. This position is truly an Operations Manager with the authority to make decisions and negotiate for the company
The candidate should have:
A degree in accounting or finance or at least 5 years of experience in a financial services company.
Experience with compliance and regulatory oversight within a highly regulated industry
Willingness to negotiate with customers, car dealers, insurance companies, service contract providers and repair facilities.
Compassion and empathy in communications with others. A willingness to listen to and address problems and concerns with patience while acting quickly in the best interest of the company.
The desire to see your work through to completion
Experience managing professional individual contributors and/or leading supervisors of a support team.
Experience participating in the interview/selection process, providing training and mentorship, offering career development guidance, and managing performance.
Ability to adapt plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges within a functional area; defines department’s operating standards.
Assures adherence to schedules, work-flow, and compliance requirements.
Ability to plans and prioritize work to meet department commitments aligned with company goals and financial responsibilities.
