The Human Resource (HR) Department of the Minnesota DNR is currently seeking a Team Lead within the Employment Services Team. This position will provide advanced professional consulting expertise to DNR management in all aspects of human resources including position allocation, recruitment and selection, compensation, performance management, employee relations, labor contract interpretation, affirmative action and diversity. The team lead will assist management in translating business needs into human resources decisions as well as manage large and complex Human Resource projects involving HR and other DNR staff. This position assists in the training, development and coaching of less experienced HR staff and provide lead work direction to other HR staff.

This position has a flexible work arrangement and may be eligible to telework on a full or part-time basis which is subject to change. If approved, the employee would be required to complete a telework agreement.
Occasionally lifting and/or carrying such articles as file folders, ledgers, and small tools. Although a sedentary job is defined as one which involves sitting, a certain amount of walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties.
