Job Description Summary
This is a professional and supervisory position providing project management, program administration and coordination related to compliance with the City’s municipal stormwater permit and other similar regulatory compliance efforts. Work assignments are performed independently requiring skill and experience in environmental permitting and regulatory compliance programs and are reviewed by a senior engineer or the City Engineer. Work accomplishments will be measured by effectiveness as work program team leader, supervisor and project manager, the quality and completeness of the work, number of work assignments completed, and amount of time billed to work assignments and projects.
Position reports to a Program Engineer.

Additional Compensation/Benefits:
– Additional $3,800 employee benefit dollars; the unused balance of which can be kept as taxable income

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemistry, Biology, or closely related field and five (5) years directly related experience providing project management, program administration and coordination related to compliance with the municipal stormwater permit and other similar regulatory compliance efforts
A minimum of one (1) year in a supervisory capacity (coaching, counseling, hiring, selection, managing performance, addressing performance improvement issues as needed and performing related supervisory tasks)
Valid Driver’s License
