This is a remote-based role within select states in the United States. At this time, we are only able to employ those located in the following states: Florida, Georgia, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Washington.
This position will require travel to our NY office headquarters for up to four times per year for internal meetings and team-building activities. The cost of travel for employees out of the area will be covered by the company. Additionally, our offices are always available for staff to use as much as desired.
A company laptop and other necessary equipment will be provided along with a $250 stipend for your work from home space.

Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Ask us about our “Flex-Time” Policy)
Salary: $50,000-60,000 (Annually)
Responsibilities:
Provide guidance and support to managers and employees to address any inquiries or issues related to leave of absence and ensure a positive employee experience
Act as a subject matter expert for leave programs and benefits
Respond to inquiries from employees and managers in a confidential and timely manner
Serve as the primary point of contact for managers, employees, HR, and Payroll throughout the leave management process
Ensure compliance with FMLA, ADA, PFL, STD, LTD, and other applicable legal, state, and federal regulations
Assist in administrative activities related to our group benefit plans including health, dental, vision, 401k, life insurance, Employee Assistance Program, and COBRA
Research, develop, and implement new benefit programs to ensure a competitive benefit offering amongst our competition
Assist with benefit communications and training programs
Apply a continuous improvement philosophy to processes to enhance administration, reduce costs, and increase efficiencies
Organize and maintain Human Resources files, documents, and other administrative duties as needed
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required (Human Resources, Business Administration, or similar field preferred)
1+ years of experience in Benefits/Leave Management
Superior interpersonal skills and professional demeanor
Comfortable handling sensitive and confidential information
Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to multi-task and shift direction easily
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to juggle tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Resourceful self-starter who can work independently while understanding the importance of teamwork
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications including Excel
