Job Summary
Provides advanced planning services to the Fleet Installation Office (FIO) Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic. Maintains installation schedules, updates milestones, develops POA&Ms, and Support Service requests. Supports On-Site Installation Coordinators (OSIC) and Production Execution Managers (PEM) with Integrated Product Team Development (IPTD) Briefs. Tracks and reports on all service funding using SharePoint documents. Tracks and maintains Milestone Tracking Fishbones for each LANT Flt CNO Availability.
Telework is supported at 50%. Travel is not required.
Responsibilities And Duties
Liaisons with Supervisor Shipbuilding (SUPSHIP), In Service Engineering Agents (ISEA), Subject Matter Experts (SME) Government, shipyard and contractor personnel. Coordinates advanced planning meetings to include formal work specification reviews with the Navy maintenance and modernization stakeholders, to ensure technical accuracy, incorporation of execution lessons learned, and planning process milestone adherence.
Qualifications And Skills
Required knowledge and years of experience
Must have at least five (5) years of experience with US Navy Command, C4I systems architecture, installation, integration, and testing. Experience with Fleet Modernization process stakeholders and organizational relationships. Understands and effectively communicates technical aspects of tasks and exercises critical thinking and independent judgment dealing with urgency factors, changing priorities, and constraints in successful project execution. Must be proficient in MS Office Products including Excel, Project, and PowerPoint. Must have the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Must be knowledgeable of various MS Office operating systems and programs.
