Teambuilding.com is looking for an experienced Human Resources Generalist to serve as a remote HR administrative support and work with People and Culture Director on all matters relating to the “People and Culture” to ensure outstanding employee focus within the organization, a 100% Distributed and Multi-state International Workforce.
The HR Generalist acts as a main point of contact for employees’ inquiries on HR-related topics. And ensures the HR department’s operations will be running smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the organization with each department.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to working with Departmental Leaders on HR related matters such as review, documenting, analysis, processing and reporting on HR metrics (payroll, headcount, labor cost, operating expenses, etc.), enhancing remote team productivities management, workforce retention and succession planning, predicting staffing needs, coordinating full cycle of talent acquisition, performance management, TNA, and managing the onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring staff wellness, compliance regulations implementation, DEIB Best Practices in the workplace, and streamlining HR functions.

Responsibilities:
1. Managing Talent Acquisition Process: Aligning staff to business objectives, working with People and Culture Director on coordinating and managing the life-cycle talent acquisition process for each business unit (including hourly, seasonal, and full time employees), as well as internal transfers (promotions), from creating job descriptions and posts (Jazz HR), coordinating the hiring process, and managing onboarding and off-boarding the team.
2. Compensation and Benefits Administration:
Managing and processing bi-weekly payroll for FT hourly, Hourly staff and Contractors, as well as OT payments (daily, weekly, if applicable).
Managing attendance documentation for Hourly staff (including FT Hourly), pertaining to PTO, S/L request review and management (ensure correct hourly rates/hours entered); Monitoring no shifts worked as well as timesheet missing related to hourly staff payroll.
Oversee gratuities tracker.
Managing employee business travel and expenses reimbursement submittal review and approval (including company credit card usage management).
Managing employee WFO pre-on boarding set up and tech package management, when needed.
3. HR Metrics Coordination and Recording: Labor Cost and Revenue / Remote Team Productivity Management:
Working with People and Culture Director on documenting HR Metrics, M-T-D and Y-T-D Labor Cost as well as other HR metrics tracking, analysis and reporting as well as remote team productivity management for team concerned, especially for Creative Department and Customer Service Department, in terms of scheduling, performance metrics, operating logs.
Working with business units as to overall staff performance enhancement, supporting employee development, enhancing recruitment efforts, promoting good HR practices and ensuring compliance with regulations and SOPs to enhance the overall quality of deliverables.
4. HR Related Confidential Documents Management: Establishing and managing the workflow for data / documents retention related to HR / Employee Personal File and minimizes compliance risks and makes easier access for the team concerned (HR Menu, Employee Performance Review Forms, PIP).
5. Employer Branding and Culture Coordinating: Working with the People and Culture Director, Marketing Department, and other business units to showcase the company culture to build up our employer brand. Including updating the company website and social media with information about what it is like to be an employee with TeamBuilding.com.
Required Skills/Abilities
BA/BS and/or relevant experience that demonstrates ability to influence attainment of business outcomes through people management and relationships.
A certification through the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the HR Certification Institute will be preferable.
Be aware of local, state, and federal employment and labor laws and stay updated on changes.
At least 2 + years of experience as a Human Resources professional (HR Generalist) with progressively growing responsibilities.
Experience in talent acquisition, compensation and benefits management (payroll process in particular), supporting a startup, fully distributed team is preferred.
Computer Savvy, proficiency with G-suite, data visualization, automation and online communities that facilitate information tracking, monitoring and reporting.
Experience with Slack, Jazz HR, Justworks, Monday.com, Zapier would be plus
Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical thinking abilities.
Possess a sound sense of ownership and accountability.
Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach.
Ability to work independently and be proactive in a high-performance fast-paced environment.
Aptitude in problem-solving.
High personal integrity and ability to exhibit a high level of confidentiality.
Compensation:
$53,000 to $68,000 annually (DOE)
