What we are looking for:

We are seeking an HR Manager to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor and resource to managers and associates on a variety of HR issues including performance management, development, promotion of positive employee relations, team building, conflict resolution, and employee retention strategies.

We are made up of high-performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed. This role is considered a hybrid, which means you’ll be required to work from home three days a week and two days a week remotely from home.

Job Description:

• Assist in tracking HR-related activity, analyze associate data for trends, and provide ad hoc reports/ statistics to support departmental goals and initiatives (terminations, compensation, hires, diversity, etc.)
• Assist managers in addressing performance issues; provide advice on effective mentoring and counseling. When necessary, work with managers to outline appropriate disciplinary steps
• Ensure consistent and effective application of Human Resources processes and programs
• Respond to employees’ questions about policies, compensation, pay, and benefits
• Partner with Specialists (Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Organizational Effectiveness, etc.) and HR colleagues to initiate, support, and/or resolve client requests/issues

• Conduct exit interviews, call out issues/trends as needed, and provide recommendations to address
• Manage severance process by compiling packages, tracking receipts, and processing agreements in an HR system
• Stay informed and updated on HR policy changes and incorporate any changes as applicable
• Identify ways to improve policies and procedures
• Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on business strategy and its people, organizational and capabilities implications for their respective groups
• Is an active participant on the leadership team for the supported group(s).
• Works strategically and in partnership with the business to develop and implement focused workforce strategies ensuring alignment with both business and HR objectives.
• Oversee complex human capital issues; analyze analytics to diagnose underlying management or cultural problems and collaborate with business and broader HR team to develop remediation plans.
• The “Roll up your sleeves” style is critical. Takes a hands-on approach to providing excellent service to the business.
• Continuously evaluate, measure, and modify priorities, programs, and plans to ensure alignment with and achievement of business strategy.
• Develop and evaluate talent.
• Ensure compliance with both local regulations as well as internal policy and processes.
• Serve as HR POC for assigned employee groups and managers for day-to-day issues and HR initiatives.
• Conduct employee-related investigations and make recommendations that are following company standards and employment laws.

• Ensures compliance with applicable labor laws or regulations.
• Lead the Company’s Learning & Development Initiative and measure Learning KPIs and report to the Management team.

Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree required (degree HR or related discipline ideal)
• Minimum 7 years of related knowledge of HR policies, processes, and HRIS
• Strong interpersonal, communication, follow-up, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills
• Must be highly organized and detail-oriented
• High proficiency with online tools and technology, and use of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to identify, drive, and/or participate in implementing process improvement activities
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team structure
• Excellent problem-solving/analytical abilities to independently resolve a variety of routine and complex issues
• High level of discretion with confidential material
• Ability to work under tight deadlines
• Possess initiative, creativity, and outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills along with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
