What is the Overview of this position?
In this non-exempt position, you will be responsible for all facets of payroll and perform a variety of human resources administrative duties. Assists with the day-to-day operation of the accounting department.
What does the Payroll/Human Resources Administrator do Day to Day? You Will:
Enter and process weekly payroll in ERP for approximately 65 union employees
Calculate and submit child support and garnishments
Complete E-Verification
Calculate and submit payroll taxes weekly, monthly and quarterly
Run and track background checks
Understand and process union reports
Assist with employee orientation and employee relations
Coordinate and track safety training and reporting
Other Accounting and Administrative responsibilities as assigned
What Experience, Education & Knowledge do you need to bring to the Table?
High school graduate with strong business and accounting courses (Required)
College degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related major (Preferred)
Two (2) Years of experience with payroll in Construction, Industrial, Manufacturing, Distribution (Required)
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Products including Excel (Required)
Bilingual (Spanish-Required)
Experience Working with ERP (required)
Ability to handle multiply tasks and well organized (Required)
Knowledge and understanding of payroll tax and accounting procedures (Required)
Must be organized, able to multi-task, work with minimal supervision, pay close attention to detail & work in a fast-paced professional work environment.
