What We’re Looking For (Qualifications):
At least 1 year of experience in Human Resources is desired
Degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred
Experience in a financial institution and/or non-profit organization is preferred
Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
Effective oral and written communication
Knowledge of PC word processing and spreadsheet applications
Experience with HRIS and/or ATS systems is a plus

What You’ll Do as the Human Resources Assistant (Responsibilities):
Utilize Applicant Tracking System to update applicants, manage new hires, and open positions
Manage onboarding process and assist with new hire orientation
Process changes in existing employees’ status
Assist in administering benefits programs, maintaining benefits records, and processing enrollments and terminations
Maintain security badge system
Maintain employee and manager information in Performance Pro; track performance appraisals and send reminders
Assist in processing bi-weekly company payroll and producing monthly PTO report
Maintain digital and paper HR filing, including terminated employee process and files
Track employee engagement rewards and distribute prizes
Assist VP of HR with annual and special projects
Pay: $22 – $27 / hour, based on experience
