Overview:
Your footprint as a Sr HR Manager of HRBP support will consist of managing the execution and coordination of all functions supporting the HR Business Partners (HRBP) and the lifecycle of the employee while ensuring we are in compliance with policies, laws, regulations, regulatory guidance, and self-regulatory organization rules. This is including but not limited to ensuring all employees meet specific I9, Background, and other standards hiring standards, in addition to ensuring a comprehensive audit process to further promote integrity.

This position will also be responsible for management of the off boarding process termination, and all related activities to ensure we are meeting appropriate standards, timelines, and compliance with Federal, State, and local law. Finally, you will also be responsible for building, designing, and developing the HR Knowledge Center HRBP Support Team such that it’s KPI’s and metrics will the needs of the organization as well as our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the development of the HRBP Support Team to support the business and HR Business Partners as it pertains to all elements of the employee life cycle, starting with new hire standards, through to off boarding processes, are in compliance with internal guidelines, as well as Federal, State, and local law.
• Oversee weekly, monthly, and all other requested ad hoc audits pertaining to background standards for new hires, including background, I9, and Drug Testing results if required.
• Ensure team is monitoring any decisional background checks, and as necessary coordinating the Pre-Adverse Action Process.
• Prepare responses to client requests and questions both in writing and verbally as it pertains to our new hire standards and practices.
• Work with Operations, and any other pertinent departments to ensure they are following audit controls and acting upon any anomalies as deemed necessary by the HRBP Support Team.
• Work with Operations and HR Business Partners, and Client Services to review client contracts to understand any compliance needs/changes and ensure implementation.
• Create and oversee a schedule for client audits to ensure we meet any and all deadlines.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Team, HR Business Partners, Operations, and other functions within the HR Knowledge Center on any compliance related concerns to drive resolution
• Ability to identify and assist in driving efficiency related improvements in conjunction with appropriate areas of the HR Knowledge Center and other departments as needed for continual process improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR or equivalent combination of experience and education in HR Compliance or Related
• 7+ years of proven management experience in an HR-related field with extensive knowledge including, compliance functions, background check audits, Pre-Adverse Action, as well as managing a team designated to same or similar functions preferred.
• Ability to make decisions surrounding decisional background that mitigate risk and to determine and review background checks against statements of work (SOW) to ensure standards are met.
• Excellent analytical skills, including high-level knowledge of Excel with a mind geared towards maximizing efficiencies, and process improvements.
• Ability to identify, present, and implement solution driven projects based upon analytics, and trends.
• Ability to coach, develop and mentor a high performing remote team.
