The ideal candidate will be passionate about recognizing the best talent while always focusing on a positive candidate experience. They should also enjoy engaging with candidates in-person and using a sophisticated mix of media to connect with the talent community (phone, email, text, campaigning, network introductions and social media).
To succeed as a Talent Scout, you must be proactive, collaborative, energetic, highly organized, and hard working. You must also be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and have strong written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Scouting: Will travel within the assigned territory to conferences, events, and campuses to support and build robust and diverse candidate pipelines. This role is at the front line, giving presentations, hosting social engagements, and identifying the best of the best.
Events: Help plan, build strategy and drive successful recruiting events and referral engagement each quarter. Participate in and coordinate workshops, engagements, and events.
Sourcing/Recruiting: Proactively identify candidates through sourcing techniques and enjoy the challenge of sourcing candidates for hard-to-fill and niche positions. We’ll task you with reviewing applications and identifying the best for screens and interviewing. You will also be responsible for processing the end of quarter seasonal hires.
Collaboration: Demonstrate ability to partner effectively with Recruiting Team and business clients at all levels of the organization. Recruiters will partner with you on strategy leveraging profile insight provided by hiring teams.
Requirements:
1-3 years of experience in a recruiting or talent acquisition role with sourcing experience. Event promotions and/or planning experience is a plus!
Preferred combination of experience in a large organization and a small startup environment.
Examples of working on team projects, showing examples of successfully contributing and meeting expectations.
Proven success of taking different roles in a single organization.
Well organized and being able to balance a high volume of communication with various stakeholders.
Ability to travel to events and other Tesla locations.
Preference near a major Tesla office in North America.
