Role scope/purpose
TMP is looking for a People Operations Coordinator to join our growing team! This hands-on individual will be instrumental in building out our U.S. People processes while joining us on our mission to position TMP as the place to build a career in B2B marketing and beyond. Your influence throughout the entire employee lifecycle will be felt by team members as the opportunity unfolds to cultivate culture and deliver excellent service. This position will work closely with our People Operations Manager in the US, supporting regional consistencies where appropriate as part of the global People team.
Job duties and responsibilities
An average day as a People Operations Coordinator supporting our growing U.S. based business might look something like:
- Support the onboarding of new hires to TMP by preparing information, delivering communications, facilitating the completion of new hire paperwork including I-9s, and conducting new hire orientation
- Own the administration for current staff and incoming new hires, maintain the integrity of employee details through our HRIS, BambooHR, and help to answer questions surrounding benefits, pay, company policies and process, etc.
- Ensure compliance while creating, maintaining, and filing all employee related paperwork
- Play an integral role in administering company benefits programs including open enrollment, day-to-day interface with employee inquiries, and maintaining benefit files
- Collaborate with People Operations Manager and Finance to ensure employees are paid accurately and in a timely manner
- Support and deliver analysis and reporting from key HR systems to drive business decisions, track PTO, provide timely guidance to managers, and ensure correct procedures are followed
- Identify opportunities and assess improvements to the employee experience while partnering with the global People team to develop and implement lasting solutions that will champion employee delight
- Ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws, regulations, and reporting. Keep abreast of legislative changes and exercise sound judgement on risk and compliance related matters
- Opportunity to collaborate and contribute on global initiatives surrounding employee engagement, DEI, wellness, development, and more
- Support People Operations Manager in the integration and change management process during ongoing M&A activity

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities*
- 1-2 years of professional experience in an HR-related role. Start-up experience preferred
- Experience with benefits administration and payroll
- Able to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and personal integrity
- Driver with proven decision making, problem solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to define priorities and display exceptional time management capabilities while handling multiple competing tasks and projects
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience with HRIS and file management
- Experience working with a globally distributed remote workforce a plus
