Professional Opportunity: Talent Acquisition Coordinator -Remote Opportunity Part time
The Talent Coordinator will play an active role in formulating methods to improve recruitment and staffing strategies to attract and retain inclusive and diverse talent for the organization.
Position Responsibilities
1. Source talent and attract candidates via social media and other online channels by using databases and job boards such as Indeed, Linkedin, and other social media sites.
2. Works closely with HR Director to identify and create detailed and accurate job descriptions and ads.
3. Prepare recruitment materials and posts jobs to appropriate social media channels, job boards, etc. (Indeed, Linkedin, etc.)
4. Screens applicants by conducting initial screenings/ interviews and documenting results to be shared with HR Director and/or managers.
5. Provides support to a variety of recruitment efforts, which may include trade schools or colleges and recruitment firms.
6. Evaluate which sources bring the best candidates.
7. Maintain “The Oaks Club” career page with current openings.
8. May assist HR Director with background checks, drug screenings and onboarding.
9. May assist HR Director with administrative support included but not limited to: digital record keeping, compiling and generating reports and special projects.
10. May assist Member Marketing Coordinator with social media communications.
Essential Skills and Experience
1. Expert knowledge of leveraging Linkedin, Indeed and other social media networks to attract quality job candidates.
2. Successful experience in recruitment processes (3-5 years).
3. Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
5. You enjoy engaging with new individuals over the phone to build a rapport and network.
6. Experience recruiting for food and beverage positions or in a country club setting is a plus.
7. Uphold confidentiality of all human resources related activities.
8. Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
As this is primarily a remote position high speed internet is required as well as a noise-free home office space free of distractions.
