The Opportunity: The RXN Group seeks a highly motivated and detail-oriented Policy/Government Affairs Account Executive to join our growing team. This role is for someone passionate about legislative and regulatory issues, ready to dive deep into policy analysis, and capable of maintaining and developing dynamic client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a deep understanding of legislative processes at both local and state levels, and the ability to communicate complex information effectively. The Role: Legislative Tracking: Conduct daily sweeps to monitor legislative developments relevant to our clients. Policy Analysis: Undertake comprehensive research and analysis of policy and regulatory changes and deliver actionable insights. Writing: Craft detailed legislative and regulatory summaries, issue trend reports, and other advocacy materials tailored to client needs. Client Engagement: Actively participate in client calls, providing summaries and identifying clear action items. Advocacy Materials: Collaborate with senior government affairs staff to develop compelling issue advocacy materials, including one-pagers, testimonies, and more. Growth: Strive to grow into a government affairs professional capable of recruiting and managing clients in the future! Who You Are: An Analyst: Your exceptional research skills allow you to dissect and understand complex legislative and regulatory topics. A Communicator: Your written communication skills are top-notch, capable of crafting clear, concise, and impactful summaries and reports. Educated & Experienced: You have experience in legal, legislative, regulatory, or public policy analysis. A Relationship Builder: You excel in forging and maintaining connections through professional and engaging communication. A Passionate Policy Nerd: You love the policy and political process!
