Position Summary
Greets customers, vendors, service providers and directs them to appropriate areas/people. Maintains a visitor log for security purposes and ensures visitors do not proceed into restricted areas of the office. Answers calls from customers and directs calls to appropriate people/departments. Processes and distributes internal mail. Performs a variety of support functions for all areas of the office including data collection, mailings, scanning, reports, and clerical functions. Provides administrative support to Human Resources department related to benefit administration, employee on-boarding and communication, and related projects. Serves as backup for corporate receptionist and Human Resources assistant in their absence.

Responsibilities*
Greets visitors, determines nature and purpose of visit, and directs or escorts them to specific destinations.
Answer calls from customers, screens, or forwards calls, providing information, taking messages, or scheduling appointments.
Provides general customer support; provides callers and visitors with basic information about the bank, such as location of departments or offices, contact information for employees, etc.
Assesses & responds to unknown and potentially urgent visitor situations in a professional and composed manner; crisis management.
Performs clerical and administrative tasks and provides scanning support to various departments across the bank.
Generates reports from I-Dashboard and provides reporting support to Retail Banking.
Supports the HR department with various tasks including job postings, Intranet articles, event planning and other administrative duties.
Create and post announcements, articles, polls, events, etc. on the bank’s intranet VillageConnect.
Acts as liaison between corporate headquarters and the Facilities department.
Ensures the secure and accurate handling and distribution of incoming and interoffice mail and other correspondence, as well as signing for and delivering packages; also handles the mailing of outgoing correspondence and packages, including FedEx, UPS, etc.
Coordinates conference rooms scheduling. Organizes and schedules meetings and appointments.
Coordinates the ordering of office supplies for all of corporate headquarters, as well as ordering snacks and other supplies for the kitchen area.
Maintains and organizes the office supply room.
Responsible for kitchen area organization and cleanliness.
Ensures filing systems are maintained and current.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience*
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must have strong inter-personal communication skills.
Technology Skills
All employees are expected to possess basic technology skills including knowledge of basic PC skills. Additional levels of technology skills may be required based on specific duties of the position.
