ABOUT THE PROJECT: The Howard Hughes Corporation, the nationally-recognized real estate company overseeing the re-development of New York Cityxe2x80x99s Seaport District, envisions the repositioning of the property as a magnet for attracting locals and visitors alike with a unique, year-round blend of entertainment, food and retail offerings. The centerpiece of the Seaport Districtxe2x80x99s renaissance is an entirely re-imagined historic Tin Building, featuring a one-of-a-kind Marketplace and entertainment venue operated by renowned chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten. The Tin Building features multiple unique venues: Several full-service restaurants, fast casual, and counter dining outlets as well as 10,000 sf of retail featuring private label products, grab and go, grocery and CPGs. To support this significant operation the Marketplace features a large commissary kitchen and bakery, as well as an exhibition kitchen that will provide media opportunities.
POSITION SUMMARY The E-Commerce Operations and Data Manager for the Food & Beverage Business units will directly to Director of E-Commerce and will be responsible for maintaining product data across multiple platforms. This role will be responsible to execute online orders to support operations to fulfill both restaurant and grocery orders. They will manage a team of shoppers, F&B runners, and shift managers to ensure operations are running smoothly. In addition, they will support the hiring, training, development, and performance counseling of all staff within their operation.
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS xc2xb7 Hospitality/Food and Beverage to include retail and multi-venues experience preferred. xc2xb7 Minimum 3+ years related experience preferably e-commerce or fulfilment or equivalent work experience in the hospitality/food and beverage industry. xc2xb7 Strong technical and analytical skills with a focus on the accuracy of work preferred. xc2xb7 Product management/inventory experience highly desired xc2xb7 Highly proficient with MS Office, MS Project, Outlook applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ability to learn new systems.
