We are looking for a full-time and part-time Truck Driver to transport cargo from one location to another. The main responsibility of the Truck Driver is to operate and maintain a vehicle to deliver products or raw materials. You should have experience driving commercial vehicles and have a valid driver’s license. We expect you to be highly organized and enjoy working under pressure. A sense of responsibility is necessary as you’ll have direct interaction with our customers. You will also have to load cargo into trailers or containers and keep records of freight costs and time spent on the road. Your main goal is to help us transport goods in a safe and efficient manner, ensuring the timely delivery of our products.

Responsibilities:

• Operate mobile equipment to load and unload shipments of raw materials, semi-finished products and finished goods.
• Load materials into containers or trailers and secure them safely.
• Operate forklifts, jib cranes and similar equipment.
• Monitor vehicles and process equipment for faults and maintenance issues.
• Deal with customer queries regarding deliveries, pick-ups and payments.
• Load vehicles following proper procedures and stand by with emergency tools in case of an accident or breakdowns.
• Keep records of all transportation activities, like logs of traveled routes, fuel consumption and identification.
• Track shipments to ensure they arrive at the intended destination safely.
• Assist in loading, unloading, inspecting and cleaning of the truck.
• Determine locations where material is stored or produced by identifying landmarks, using maps or referring to directions.
• Ensure that the vehicle can be driven safely by checking that all systems are working properly.
• Collect payments for services rendered from customers.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $53,693.00 – $65,044.00 per year
