About the Position:
TJFACT is seeking to hire a well-qualified Jr. Communications Specialist to provide Strategic Marketing and Communication Support for our DFAS team!
The Senior Communications Specialist shall provide program management oversight, be the principal liaison to the COR, submit all contract required deliverables, as well as serve as the Contractor team’s representative to Government stakeholders.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Comply with all appropriate Federal and DoD architectures, programs, standards, and guidelines.
• Acquire and maintain all necessary commercial, open source, and third-party hardware and software agreements to include licenses, warranties, and commercial maintenance agreements.
• Provide all hardware and software needed to host, manage, and integrate the solution; minimize reliance on proprietary hardware and software in light of the requirement to transition to a fully organic government model in end-state of the contract.
• Be responsible for independently engaging key stakeholders and curating subject matter content for deliverables.
• Ensure Section 508 compliance in all deliverables.
• Have strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication and presentation skills.
• Have the ability to provide clear, common language messaging for highly complex financial and accounting concepts.
• Produce work products that are accurate, professional in appearance, and free from any typographical, grammar, spelling, and formatting errors.
• Be a good team worker, demonstrating loyalty and commitment to the DFAS organization and team members.
Strategic Enterprise Marketing and Communication Plan
• Provide expertise and support services to analyze and assist in the adjustment of the current communications strategy within the scope of the organization.
• Independently compile subject matter content to create enterprise plans, exhibits, high visibility reports and artifacts, and communication stream mediums (e.g. web, social media, hard copy, soft copy, etc.) to execute the communication strategy and provide advice and assistance refreshing existing materials in alignment.
Marketing Material Production
• Design, develop, and produce communication products and provide overall communications support.
• Develop professional publication materials to include independent content curation, graphic design, layout, copy editing, section 508 compliance, and publishing for communication materials including, but not limited to:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• U.S. Citizen
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a related discipline is desired.
• A minimum of four (4) years of direct or relevant industry experience and the following skill specific related experience.
• A minimum of one (1) year performing independent inquiry, analysis, and decision support and advice to senior management levels on complex financial or accounting concepts.
• A minimum of one (1) year Finance and Accounting experience with the DoD or Federal Government.
• A minimum of one (1) year providing support to executive levels.
• A minimum of one (1) year marketing/brand image, public relations consulting experience.
• Experience developing and deploying enterprise level strategic communication plans with intentional messaging for targeted stakeholder groups, both internal and external, to the organization.
