Develop and Coordinates Department of Homeland Security non-agriculture H2B Visa Program
Manages and performs audits of nonimmigrant NAFTA Professional (TN)Visa Program
Partner with business unit HR leaders to develop and implement audit process to ensure adherence to compliance standards.
Facilitate regulatory compliance efforts by designing and implementing practices and policies to ensure compliance is achieved consistently across the organization.
Work with functional leads to ensure these compliance standards are adhered to regarding employment processes, data management, and applicable employment reporting requirements.
Design and develop programs, policies and practices to maintain the company’s compliance with all federal, state and local employment-related regulatory requirements such as FLSA, FMLA, ADA and FCRA.
Responsible for collaborating on and spearheading the management, communication, necessary revisions and updates to company-wide HR policies and procedures.
Partner with HR and Recruiting teams across business units to facilitate necessary training and communication when applicable concerning employment regulations and corresponding HR policies and procedures.
Develop and maintain affirmative action programs for federal contractor compliance; files EEO-1 annually; maintains other records, reports and logs to conform to EEO regulations including roll out and monitoring.
Partner with Recruiting Team with regard to affirmative action, applicant tracking, data integrity, WOTC and other compliance processes related to talent acquisition.
Establish and clearly communicate realistic job requirements to direct reports; provide frequent feedback and reviews on performance; and accurately appraise performance results against communicated expectations and where necessary take timely action to resolve performance or work habit problems.
Provide timely information to the Director of Corporate Human Resources of activities in your area of responsibility and current status of personnel; accomplishments; status of projects and job requirements; and other information that you feel is necessary. For any problem or opportunity identified, provide recommended action plan.
Develops, recommends, and implements personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains handbook on policies and procedures
Speak / Read Spanish, Burmese or Hakha Chin language a plus.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Four year degree in Industrial Relations or Business Management. Five (5) to ten (10) years experience in an administrative role and knowledge of employment laws. Three (3) to five (5) years manufacturing environment. Strong reading communication and analytical skill required. Must be computer literate (Excel, Word, Outlook) capable of creating spreadsheets and working with large volume of data. Must be a detail-oriented, effective performer, who can operate within strict time lines and adapt to a fast-paced multi-task environment. Must be self-motivated, committed to performing quality work and able to work within a team environment
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Possess the skill set to effectively and clearly communicate with others within and outside of the Company. Ability to read and interpret documents in the English language such as general business periodicals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to perform these operations and apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to use computers and all standard programs used by the industry and the ability to learn and effectively use any and all other computer programs that are or will be made available.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to move about the facility. The employee is required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel/hold objects, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance; speak, hear, taste and smell. Employee may occasionally lift, push/pull up to forty (40) pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment would normally be an office setting but may require trips through the entire facility which would include climate extremes.
NORMAL WORK SCHEDULE: The hours and days of work are established as needed by operations and at the discretion of management and may be changed (increased or decreased) by management as required.
