BACKGROUND ON TS FOOD PACKAGING
TS Food Packaging was founded in 1982 and was acquired by the current management in 1996. The company has experienced rapid growth in the last decade as we have expanded our private label packaging operations from a single product to dozens. The company now employs approximately 78 employees with additional work performed by temps as customers demand.
SALARY RANGE
$55,000 to $65,000 (depending on experience). Health, dental & vision insurance, Simple IRA, disability insurance & paid vacation are offered after first year.
- Willing to work as part of a team or independently and have the drive to take on a variety of tasks and projects
- Lead recruitment efforts
- Review applications of potential new hires
- Conduct phone interview with potential candidates
- Schedule face to face interviews and assisting in interview process
- Complete background, motor vehicle, and reference checks for potential candidates
- Schedules new hires for Orientation and Training
- Work with temp agencies and insure all production lines are staffed daily
- Preparing and maintaining employee files
- Serving as a point person for all employee questions
- Complete WI new hire reporting for all new hires
- Complete I-9 verification and file separately
- Maintaining employee files by filing documents weekly or as often as needed
- Make any and all corrections for staff check in and out in time-clock
- Assist Operations Manager with employee disciplinary actions and terminations
- Complete employment verification
- Prepare Unemployment and Work Comp claims
- Assist staff with completing work comp claims
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
