The Executive Director of Faculty Development in UConn’s Center for Excellence in
Teaching and Learning (CETL) provides leadership for faculty development strategies designed to improve teaching effectiveness and elevate
student learning outcomes. The incumbent will promote equity minded and inclusive teaching and learning practices, lead efforts to recognize
and celebrate teaching excellence, and facilitate impactful evidence-based and research-informed programming. The Executive Director
provides direction for a team of faculty development professionals and coordination for CETL faculty affiliates. This position requires
extensive interaction and collaboration with CETL staff and UConn faculty, teaching assistants, department heads, and senior academic
leaders. The Executive Director reports to the Associate Vice Provost in CETL.
