Job overview and responsibilities
The Recruiting Representative supports and collaborates in a variety of administrative, recruiting and project tasks within the Talent Acquisition team. This individual may be assigned to support corporate and/or frontline recruiting teams and divisions.
Executive/Corporate Support:
Supports sourcing and selection processing activities, including:
Collecting, entering and maintaining new hire data
Scheduling pre-placement testing/assessment dates and interviews
Operational Support:
Maintains top quality service and builds relationships with internal and external business partners/candidates through stellar customer service and excellent verbal and written communication skills
Supports recruiting team with position requests, processing of requisitions and candidates through application and clearance process; takes initiative to resolve problems and continuously improve staffing processes
Maintains data integrity in all work processes to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations; and ensures confidentiality and security of employee/candidate data and records
Assists Frontline hiring events to ensure workflow and processing provides overall positive candidate and business partner experience with interviews and clearance stages (Frontline hiring teams only)
Supports onboarding transaction processing activities, including, but not limited to:
Hiring Event Planning (Frontline only)
Initial candidate screening, including sourcing and resume review based on requisition prerequisites
Provides superior customer service to all employees by promptly responding to employee inquiries
Achieves performance measures and adheres to established customer service standards
Escalates non-routine matters to appropriate individuals
Team lead liaison supporting recruiters, vendors and/or clients
Adheres to established processes, procedures, and systems
Interprets standard, administrative procedures and practices
Maintains records relating to employee/customer inquiries
Take initiatives to resolve problems and continuously improve processes
Maintains data integrity in all work processes to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
Ensures confidentiality and security of applicant data
Project work as needed
Required
High School diploma/GED or equivalent
2+ or more years of customer service, data entry, call center or related administrative experience
1+ year or more staffing experience
Understanding of staffing, recruiting and operations practices, programs and plans
Demonstrated good judgment, confidentiality and adaptability
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a strong emphasis on customer service
Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced, highly team-oriented environment
Excellent time management, follow-through and organizational skills
Ability to handle multiple priorities with a high degree of accuracy
Intermediate to advanced computer skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet Explorer and databases
Demonstrated leadership ability to coach and counsel others on best practices and recruiting processes
Ability to work on special projects, in addition to typical workload, with minimal supervision
Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
Preferred
College degree preferred
5 or more years HR experience
Process Management skills
Experience using Taleo or other Applicant Tracking Systems
Experience using HRIS platforms (i.e. PeopleSoft)
