University of Rochester Hiring for Clinical Track Accounting Faculty at Rochester, NY Full Time

The University of Rochester’s Simon Business School is
seeking candidates for a clinical faculty member (non-tenure track) in accounting effective July 1, 2024. Rank (assistant, associate, or
professor) depends on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.

  programs, a part-time M.B.A. program, and Executive M.B.A. programs in Rochester and Switzerland.

  full-time Master of Science in Accountancy (MSA). If students have met certain undergraduate prerequisites, this program has been designated
  by the New York State Education Department as fulfilling the 150 credit-hour requirement for professional education programs in public
  accountancy.

• One of the leading journals, the Journal of Accounting and Economics, was founded and is co-edited at
  Rochester. 

Responsibilities

• Teaching courses in accounting and related areas.
• Contributing to the strategic mission of the school in various ways (e.g., serving as the undergraduate accounting track advisor)
• Potential to be appointed as Faculty Director of the MSA program (with additional compensation or reduction in teaching
  responsibilities).

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate degree in Accounting, Business
  Administration, or related area from an AACSB-accredited institution.
• New York State CPA
• Interest and ability in teaching
  M.B.A., M.S., and Undergraduate courses in accounting and related areas of the Simon School curriculum.
• Teaching experience is
  desired

In compliance with the NY Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $100,000 – $150,000.
The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/ will be set within the
job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education,
experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
