Duties

The following are duties you may be required to accomplish but it is not all inclusive:

• Assists club management in the economic and efficient operations of the club.
• Assists club management in the programming of daily and monthly specials and events for the club.
• Assists club management in the organization and promotion of club events. Oversees club marketing displays and ensures that all marketing materials are ordered and up to date.
• Works with management in the planning, scheduling, and coordinating of work operations, solving problems; explaining and gaining the support of subordinates for management policy and goals; and for dealing effectively with employees on employee suggestions, complaints, grievances and other matters.
• Monitors training certifications and employee checklists to ensure they are current. Establishes, reviews, and evaluates purchases of supplies, equipment and resale merchandise.
• Updates and prepares necessary s as required by club management and the Air Force Services Agency. Develops new computer files and maintains accurate records. Prepares receiving documents, audits daily activity s, and prepares for transmittal. Updates, prepares and runs point of sale s as requested by management.
• Conducts monthly inventories ensuring all resale items are properly accounted.
• Responsible for all arrangements for catering activities (i.e., banquets, parties, receptions, luncheons and other special activities) requiring food and beverage service catered by the club.

Qualifying Experience:
Responsible experience which has demonstrated the ability to manage business activities. Experience may have been gained in an operating, administrative or managerial position which included various phases of operations such as planning organizational or club activities. Must have working knowledge of procurement, receiving and inventory controls, customer service, budgeting, and marketing. Must have cash handling experience which includes direct handling of cash and cash items and the use of cash accountability methods. Must have general computer skills in the use of various automated software programs, tools and techniques to produce a variety of documents and s. Must complete a satisfactory National Agency background investigation. Must have a working knowledge receiving, procurement, customer service, inventory procedures, budgeting and cash handling.

Education

FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program.
