Our global headquarters are in Acton, MA and are home to our R&D, Operations,
Marketing, Sales, and Finance teams as well as our production lines and warehouse/distribution center.
The position:
We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for recruitment efforts, new hire orientation and onboarding, payroll and benefits, company policy and procedure adherence. In addition, you will build strong relationships with our company’s managers to help them with their human resource needs.
Responsibilities:
- Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads, and managing the hiring process.
- Develop and oversee new hire orientation, onboarding efforts and employee termination process.
- Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues.
- Maintain employee records (attendance, EEO date, etc.) according to policy and legal requirements.
- Payroll processing and benefits administration (Health/401k).
- Maintain the employee handbook and other company policy documents.
- Coordinate employee activities including company events and offsite meetings.
- Administrative clerical duties including, but not limited to, review and distribution of incoming mail, ordering and maintaining office and warehouse supplies.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development, etc.)
- Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures
- Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
- Strong ethics and reliability
- Gusto or other HRIS experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Human Resources, or related area
- 3+ years in HR

Pay: $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
