We are seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team!
Hospital Details
Kentfield Hospital, located in Kentfield, CA is a 60 bed Critical Care hospital providing acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. Often our patients require additional critical care services for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation and ventilator weaning. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and friendly work environment where you really get to know your patients and their families.
Responsibilities
Responsible for assisting the Physical Therapist in the provision of Physical Therapy services to patients, including treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation, and communication. Functions under a Physical Therapist and per physician orders.
Required Skills:
- Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of employment required.
- Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.
Additional Qualifications/Skills:
- One (1) year of experience preferred. Previous Hospital experience preferred.
- Ability to project a professional image.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
- Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
- Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.

Posted Total Compensation
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It’s not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $29.20 to $35.60.
