Due to the retirement of the incumbent employee, we seek a candidate with knowledge and expertise to manage and administer all aspects of the human resources function, including employee recruitment and retention, compensation and benefits administration, personnel policy review, risk management, employee training and development, performance management and employee and labor relations. The candidate will provide oversight and management of the Village’s Information Technology (IT) initiatives related to organizational performance.
The preferred candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in human resources, public or business administration, or a related field; a master’s degree and SHRM or HRCI certification are pluses. The successful candidate will possess a minimum of four years of experience in human resource management, preferably in a municipal setting, or any equivalent combination of training and experience, which provides the necessary knowledge, skills and ability to perform the position.
The pay range of the exempt-level position is $76,623 to $108,759, depending on qualifications and experience.
