Position will support various aspects of college HR function; including, but not limited to:
Out of state employee administration & coordination
General File Administration/Maintenance (recruitment, payroll, personnel, medical); converting manual to electronic
Assisting with the onboarding process (i.e. new employee set-up, communicating with employees, forms completion, etc.)
Assisting with offboarding process
I-9 management/coordination
Assisting with service award coordination and processes
Assisting with administrative aspects of job posting, recruitment, hiring
Assist with payroll administration as needed
Assist as needed with Employee Educational Assistance program
Coordinating HR intranet site updates with all other relevant info (updating policies, procedures, org charts, links, etc.)
Minimum Qualifications
Requires ability to multi-task and perform complex & detail-oriented duties. Need ability to work with and support employees at all levels, related to all aspects of Human Resources. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required, with ability to prioritize and meet established project deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior administrative support experience, especially in Human Resources. Prefer at least 2-year degree in related discipline. Experience in education, especially higher ed and community college, preferred.
