Visiontron, a family-owned, Hauppauge-based manufacturing company, is hiring for an Inside Sales Executive for GSA/Government Sales. We’re seeking a go-getter who will be mentored by one of our seasoned sales managers who will guide you through learning all sales activities. This person must have prior experience selling to the government.This is a part time remote position with full time possibilities.
During our over 50 years here on Long Island, we have become a leading manufacturer of consumer guidance products, and we’d love to add a person to our team who is looking to grow with us.
You’ll gain knowledge of the entire sales cycle, including lead generation, product education, quoting, and finally closing the deal. Once you complete the training period, you will be given your own market and your ability to earn commission will increase.
What We Are Looking for In You:
- Experience with GSA/government sales required
- Implementation of a contact program to contact those decision makers on upcoming contracts
- Daily search for bids across a wide spectrum of federal procurement databases
- Review opportunities for relevancy to client operations
- Liaising with client on bids/opportunities identified to review and approve
- Writing of Requests of Proposals / Requests for Quotations, limit of 7 per month
- Submittal of RFP/RFQ and associated follow-up with contracting personnel
- Development of response materials (collateral sales materials)
- Coordination with buyers and contracting offers
- Implementation assistance upon award
- Great communicator who is driven and possesses a strong work ethic
- Proficient in Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and positive attitude

Pay: weekly base salary plus commissions. Weekly base will be determined by hours worked and experience.
