Visiting Nurses Home Care Hiring for HR Assistant at Albany, NY Full Time

Visiting Nurses Home Care is currently seeking an HR Assistant who is highly dependable and able to multi-task. The incumbent will be responsible for clerical duties to support effective and efficient operations of the agency’s Human Resources Department.

Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining accurate and up to date personnel and medical files for new hires and all employees in compliance with applicable state and federal requirements
• Assist the payroll department with weekly Paid Time Off reports.
• Inputting and updating all employee information into ADP and Home Care Home Base, including but not limited to dates of annual renewable requirements, address changes, and performance evaluations.
• Responsible for timely completion of employment verifications, DSS paperwork and other verifications as requested. Works with Payroll/ADP to secure the proper documentation for reporting employee wage information.
• Verifies and maintains I-9 documentation.
• Performs routine personnel file audits to ensure compliance with state and federal personnel requirements
• Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED with 2+ years of related experience preferably in Human Resources
• Excellent customer service and employee relation skills
• Must be organized and have the ability to multi-task and function in a fast-paced work environment
• Proficient computer skills with precise data entry skills
• Must be accurate and thorough in performing and completing work assignments.
• Ability to maintain confidential information
• ADP WorkforceNowHRIS experience is highly desirable
