Vitality Bowls Hiring for HR Coordinator at Danville, CA Full Time

JOB SUMMARY

In 2011 Vitality Bowls was created in northern California from a commitment to provide healthy, high quality superfoods, smoothies, acai bowls and hand-crafted juices to communities throughout the US. The company is fast paced, exciting and has grown to over 70 stores. The company has an amazing opportunity with benefits for an HR Coordinator in the Danville area. This role is primarily responsible for assisting with the human resource processes at each of the corporate store locations. This role administers employee health and welfare plans and acts as liaison between employees and insurance providers. This role provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Provides time keeping reports, manual corrections & maintenance of time clocks.
• Works with payroll to Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
• Maintains personnel files.
• Onboarding of new hires.
• Has up to date knowledge of, and ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
• Facilitates audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.
• Directs and plans the day-to-day operations of group benefits programs (group health, dental, vision), worker’s compensation, life insurance, etc.
• Review monthly insurance bills from carrier for accuracy.
• Process EDD, EEO-1, OSHA 300 Logs and FMLA claims.
• Manage and track vacation, COVID and sick leave.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

• Three to five years of HR experience required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 – $28.00 per hour
