HR Generalist Responsibilities:
Evaluate and respond to questions pertaining to HR policies
Clarification of company HR policies & procedures, such as holiday pay and paid time off accrual
Demonstrate an understanding of the federal and state regulations surrounding protected leaves and serve as the point of contact for employees who are placed on protected leaves, ensuring appropriate and accurate leave communication is sent to the Consultant in a timely manner.
Manage Workers Compensation claims including liaising between employees and WC insurance carrier
Process employee information and status updates in a timely manner in HRIS system as well as the leave tracking report.
Keep in contact with local office representatives and provide direction on any necessary status or employment actions.
Work with local offices to research Visa requirements and coordinate documentation for consultants traveling internationally.
Respond to requests for verification of employment in a timely manner.
Complete and respond to state unemployment insurance claim forms and inquiries.
Ensures that applicants meet company-hiring standards by reviewing and assessing all background investigation reports.
Works closely with local offices and legal team to comply with client requirements including the review of legal contracts and audits.
HR Generalist Requirements:
2+ years of HR experience
Proficient in Workday HRIS System
