About the Department
Dicerna, a Novo Nordisk company, is focused on driving innovation in RNAi (ribonucleic acid interference) to selectively target and silence genes that cause or contribute to disease. Our proprietary GalXC™ and GalXC-Plus™ RNAi technologies have the potential to address conditions that are difficult or impossible to treat with other modalities. Established as a Transformational Research Unit (TRU) following Novo Nordisk’s acquisition of Dicerna Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in December 2021, the Dicerna TRU is a unique new organization within Novo Nordisk that brings together the best of both worlds – the agility, collaborative pioneering spirit and calculated risk-taking profile of a biotech along with the scale, resources and capabilities of a global leader in drug development. With approximately 200 researchers, scientists, drug developers and operational staff, we are a team of inventive and entrepreneurial thinkers pushing the boundaries of science to create and drive new RNAi-based therapies for both rare and more prevalent diseases from the bench to the clinic. The Position
The position holder serves as a strategist, project manager and implementer across the US R&D and Corporate Development organizations. Acts as a strategic partner and project manager to guide the operations within the P&O function by identifying, planning and executing projects and delivering initiatives across the full P&O portfolio, in particular within talent- and succession management, diversity & inclusion and mergers & acquisitions. Successful delivery will require incumbent to identify project milestones, establish relevant governance and successfully deliver project milestones in close collaboration with stakeholders across P&O and the lines of business as it relates to organization-wide and local projects.
Relationships
Reports to the Head of HR, US R&D and maintains a high level of connectivity with HR Business Partners, HR global and local centers of excellence and lines of business to ensure strategic and execution coordination across the organization. This position requires senior stakeholder interaction, leadership, and collaboration. External relationships include interactions with relevant vendors and consultants based on the needs of special projects or implementation of new programs.
