Waffle House Hiring for Training Development Specialist at Norcross, GA Full Time

Training & Development Specialist (TDS) – Management Systems will design, create, implement, and maintain management training systems. This role is also responsible for developing training materials including manuals, videos, and coaching documents while promoting hourly and management training initiatives through in-person and online platforms.

What you’ll do:

• Implement content delivery through memos, Power-point presentations, and script writing for training, internal communication, and videos
• Assist team with Waffle House University (WHU) admin and class scheduling
• Focuses on management content creation
• Assists with hourly content creation, as needed
• Manage e-learning platform for all of aspects of training in collaboration with TDS – Hourly System
• Advisor for Local WHU (temporary)
• Update and edit training materials as needed
• Implement special projects from other departments

What we’re looking for:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects, occasionally in cross-functional settings, and adhere to deadlines
• Excellent time management, interpersonal communication, and problem-solving skills
• Flexible and customer-oriented (internal & external)
• MS Word, Excel, Adobe, InDesign, Photoshop, and Powerpoint skills
• Knowledge of Online Learning Management System (LMS)
• Team player and willing to constantly learn
• Waffle House restaurant experience, preferred
• 2-year degree, relevant certification or equivalent experience, required
• 5+ years’ experience in the field of training with emphasis on content design and creation and e-learning skills

Compensation Range: $65,000 – $78,000/year

• Based on extent of relevant experience and knowledge for the role
