SUMMARY:
The Cultural Health Kako’o position is responsible for assisting the Director of Cultural Health with l’au lapa’au classes, patient education, community outreach, and WHC’s Farmer’s Market. The Cultural Health Kako’o will assist with the preparation of l’au for patients, classes, including growing, harvesting, and maintaining our Mla Ho‘la healing garden. The position also serves as a research and grant assistant on projects and grants related to l’au lapa’au, lomilomi, ‘ai pono, and works in the context of the patient centered health care home.
