Responsibilities:
- Collecting and analyzing data about companies operational costs
- Continually pursue better prices on all products and services we consume
- Shipping carrier ongoing evaluation and negotiation
- Website price setting and margin analysis
- Competitor price monitoring and assessment
- Seek out and eliminate inefficiencies
- Development of cost analysis tools necessary to support cost control
- Setting standard costs for produced goods
- Continually assess the company’s processes & policies to make recommendations to improve efficiency and reduce costs
Requirements:
- Cost accounting and Inventory background preferred
- Bachelor’s in Accounting or Business Administration
- Proficient in Excel formulas and functions
- Strong analytical skills
