Job Summary: The Payroll HR Coordinator will process biweekly payroll and maintain employee records.
Payroll Responsibilities:
Update all employee changes in the HRIS application, such as pay changes, position changes, etc.
Ensure the accurate and timely processing of the bank’s bi-weekly payroll (including regular hours worked and other compensation).
Ensure proper processing of payroll deductions for taxes, benefits, and other deductions.
Develop and produce all required and requested payroll reports, ensuring accurate, meaningful and timely information.
Assist managers with timecard questions.
Assist with the implementation of new HRIS modules.
Help monitor the HRIS dashboard and workflows.
Administrative Support Responsibilities:
Maintain and organize HR items; Intranet, E-files, & hard copy files
Scanning & Filing
Coordinate applicable communications regarding Employee Change Notifications, Employee Separations, Manager reminders
Prepare benefit materials for new hires and annual open enrollment communications
Document Retention coordination
Maintain Org Charts up to date
Ensure all necessary workplace employment posters are up to date
Assist with monthly reconciliation of the department’s invoices
Talent Acquisition Responsibilities:
Maintain Applicant Flow Log.
Assist with Reference and/or Background Checks.
Monitor drug screening workflow and communicate results.
Sends out New Hire Internal Communication.
Conducts New Hire Orientation (on a rotating schedule).
Required Skills/Abilities:
Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, Outlook, Sharepoint, Teams
Strong math skills
Demonstrated analytical skills
Demonstrated attention to detail
High level of organization skills
Must have a high level of discretion, ability to handle sensitive information appropriately, and not be easily bothered things
Must be adaptable to change and ability to function well with ambiguity
Ability to remain professional and composed under pressure.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software programs.
Education and Experience:
2+ years towards 4-year degree in HR, or 2+ years experience working in a Human Resources / Payroll Department
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Must be able to commute to various locations.
