The Early Careers Coordinator will work on a combination of strategic projects and events that fall under WestRock Early Careers. Will consider a recent HR graduate with some administrative or office clerk experience seeking a career within Talent Acquisition. Ideal candidate will have a ‘fire in the belly’ workstyle and take the initiative to complete tasks while maintaining a customer service personality. Bring your HR degree and we will train on position requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Early Careers and Military and Veteran Program Managers and team on initiatives.
• Schedule interviews and communicate interview details.
• Assist with sourcing intern, co-op and full-time candidates as well as maintain candidate pipelines and help ensure that all candidates have a point of contact
• Work closely with facility HR professionals to develop and track metrics for early career candidate sourcing, hiring, placement, retention and diversity.
• Organize and manage job postings for early career roles.
• Provide the highest level of service to internal and external customers.
• Maintain our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to ensure candidate records are complete and that the recruitment process is accurately tracked and in alignment with established work processes.
• Work as part of a dedicated team and take on other related tasks to improve candidate and customer experience for WestRock Early Careers.
• Be a communications and relationship champion for our early career candidate pipeline, existing early career associates and internal customers.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or similar degree plan
• Excellent skills working with MS O365 suite of products including TEAMS, Planner, Word and Excel
• Experience with Yello or other Talent Acquisition software is nice, not necessary
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Impeccable attention to detail in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment while driving the interview process from start to finish
