Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Performs all tasks affiliated with administering health and dental insurance plans, supplemental insurances, life insurance, 401k program, and various other benefits as assigned. Also includes handling benefit Open Enrollment as applicable.
Handles 401k upload/reconciliation for processing employee/employer contributions.
Invoice reconciliations that affect HR such as various insurance billings and temporary staffing. Maintains vendor contact to investigate discrepancies and provide information in non-routine situations. Assist in preparing materials and in presenting benefit plan changes to management and employees.
Administrative research for various tasks and projects as assigned.
Prepares and files reports of accidents and injuries at establishment as well as maintaining OSHA log. Handles worker’s comp first reports and insurance filings as well as employee questions.
Processes Family Medical leave approvals and rejections.
Assist Management in recruitment efforts. This includes processing of ads, identifying and participating at job fairs and interviewing. Works with external recruiters and employment agencies to identify and recruit candidates. Provides information on company facilities and job opportunities to potential internal/external candidates as well as coordinates communication with applicants. Responsible for files and maintains employment records for future references.
Employee retention efforts, establish best practices, implement, and maintain.

Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelors in Business degree preferred. Prefer 2-3 years experience in Human Resources.
