Job Summary:
The HR Coordinator role will be a key player in overseeing the check-in of newly arriving staff, acting as an employee ambassador and assisting with HR Administrative duties.

Responsibilities:
Act as a key player in connecting employees with the Oasis at Death Valley by overseeing the check-in of newly arriving staff and delivering a professional and enthusiastic welcome to their new home.
Assist with Xanterra Orientation and Safety Training Programs.
Enter and track internal and external applicants into HRIS System and various other databases.
Prepare new hire packets and coordinate new hire activities to assist with arrival of staff
Act as a liaison between staff and management (first contact to properly instruct regarding job changes; agreement extensions, job postings, extension of employment, and inter-park “Property to Property” transfers.
Issue and track keys, and supplies in accordance with housing policies and complete payroll deductions as appropriate.
Assist with various administrative tasks related to records of resident’s arrivals, transfers and terminations; attendance at facilitated trainings. completing all administrative and clerical assignments promptly and accurately, including filing, transient room tracking, compiling maps and resident lists, termination spreadsheets, employee out runs, and completion of termination checklists and in-season paperwork.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be capable of moving/lifting objects up to 25 pounds and maintain a moderate level of exertion.
Ability to walk moderate distances and climb stairs multiple times throughout shift for required tasks in employee dorms.
Ability to sustain periods of standing, bending, flexing, pushing/pulling vacuum, performing cleaning duties as needed.
AUTHORITIES:
Enforcement of Company Policies and Procedures.
Tracking of resident housing assignments.
Contact of Security staff, NPS, and/or upper management as needed in handling of employee situations.
Addressing administrative issues verbally with residents and reporting to Housing Manager for follow-up.
