As the Senior Specialist, Time and Attendance, you†ll perform tasks related to the analysis, processing, and execution of HR data within People Services and maintain the utmost confidentiality in dealing with employee records and business information.

What you†ll do on a typical day:

• Support Human Resources and Payroll departments and provide support for Associates and Managers
• Perform daily input of time data in the appropriate HR and Payroll systems
• Perform historical edits on timecards and attendance records
• Work with Managers to validate and correct employee timecards
• Review terminations and calculate final PTO payout
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding PTO policy
• Adjust PTO balance
• Monitor systems and databases to ensure that processes are in compliance with company policies
• Assumes ownership of transferred/escalated requests and ensures accuracy/completeness of resolutions. Â
• Ensures resolution addresses the customer†s request and provides an excellent customer experience in an efficient and effective manner
• Review, analyze, and reconcile related data according to established timelines, standards, and procedures
• Escalate requests to the appropriate resource and assure that cases are updated and maintained accordingly

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you†ll need:

• 2 years of HR shared services (or related) experience, preferably for a large multi-state company
• Demonstrate a basic understanding of HR processes, procedures, controls, regulations, and compliance requirements for at least one functional area (eg, staffing, compensation, benefits, learning, employee data). Basic familiarity with at least one other area desirable

It†d be great if you also have:

• Experience with contact center telephony (eg, Cisco, Avaya) and case management application (eg, ServiceNow) preferred
• Specialized systems experience pertinent to the team/position (eg, Kronos) may be desired
• Experience with Microsoft tools and applications required
• A sense of urgency in solving customer requests to ensure timely resolution
• Demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality and sensitivity to compliance-related matters
• Able to process complex information and identify solutions that meet both internal and business partner requirements
• Ability to interact with and support all levels of management to assist them in achieving HR goals/targets
• Demonstrated ability to use appropriate judgment in knowing when to involve other resources (eg, escalation) in decisions or actions
• Knowledge of standard business practices and professionalism in a customer service environment are essential
