Zurich is currently hiring an Entry Level Human Resources Coordinator to join their HR Transaction Center team! This position is a hybrid of remote work and in office activity designed to meet the need of the selected candidate and Zurich North America. The candidate selected for this opportunity should be able to report into one of the following North American offices: Overland Park, KS or Schaumburg, IL.
The Human Resources Coordinator enters and controls data from confidential employee records in the organization’s computerized Human Resources Information Systems. They identify and solve any anomaly or discrepancy to ensure data and information are accurate and guarantee Human Resources and management have access to up-to-date personnel related data in the systems.
In this role you will be responsible for:
Processing daily transactions including but not limited to new hires, salaries, organizational management changes, leave of absences and timecard corrections
Working daily and extensively within Excel spreadsheets entering critical information
Documenting leave of absences and while navigating multiple state FMLA laws
Ensuring the employee data is entered into the company systems accurately and appropriately
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent and 3 or more years of HR processing experience
OR
Zurich approved Apprenticeship program including an Associate Degree and 1 or more years of HR processing experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
Knowledge of Leave of Absence (LOA) administration
Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) working knowledge
Ability to collaborate and be a team player
Advanced Microsoft Office skills
SAP experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong organization skills and detailed oriented
