The Olean Area Federal Credit Union is seeking an experienced Director of Human Resources to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and passionate about developing and implementing human resource strategies through staffing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, succession planning and improving employee experience and retention.
Equally important is providing an employee-oriented, high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity and standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of a quality workforce.
The Director of Human Resources primary responsibilities are but not limited to:
Interested candidates must meet the following Qualifications:
Education/Certification: B. S. degree in business or related field or equivalent experience and education. SHRM Certification desired.
Required Knowledge: Knowledge of human resource laws and regulations. Understanding of compensation and benefits policies and programs.
Experience Required: Minimum of five years of progressive managerial experience in human resource positions. Supervisory experience required.
Skills/Abilities: Strong analytical skills, Excellent oral and written communication skills, Superior interpersonal and supervisory abilities, and Effective project management abilities.
