Global Human Resources Business Partner
The Global Human Resources Business Partner provides HR Leadership for select key businesses and functions. Global HR Leaders provide direct partnership and support to designated members of the Executive Leadership Team and their Senior staff, working closely with a network of HR colleagues across the globe to ensure achievement of business results through impactful people approaches.
This particular HR Leader will focus heavily on our Performance Additives (PA) business, Momentive’s largest, which delivers ~$1B in revenue each year. Highly global and fast-paced, the Performance Additives team operates with a solutions mindset and is extremely agile. The business touches a variety of customer types in end market segments from Personal Care and Agriculture to Coatings, Polyurethanes, Electronics and Automotive.
Working closely with the CHRO, Business President and cross-functional team, this Senior HR Leader will connect business strategy to people-focused work, with responsibility for driving development and incorporating enterprise-wide initiatives. Activity incorporates all elements of an HR generalist role, starting with connecting people to business strategy and including leadership coaching and development, succession planning, organizational design, compensation, talent acquisition, compliance, training and development at the corporate and local level always with a mindset of Business Driven – People Focused .
The HR Leader will also have responsibility for one or more additional client groups, and client groups may change over time based on incumbent interest and Company support needs.
Key responsibilities include:
Provide leadership support to the assigned client groups at the Senior Vice President level and his or her direct staff at the Director level and above. Examples include organizational alignment and organizational structure development or rationalization as well as coaching and training and development of the staff.
Utilize knowledge of local divisional/functional business objectives and functional HR knowledge and expertise to support and advise local leaders and managers on HR-related issues to help meet local business goals and objectives.
Represent the interests and viewpoint of the functional team and functional leadership team in cross-functional work with business leaders and other HR partners.
