Become part of the Northrop Grumman Human Resources team in a functional facing leadership role. The selected candidate will be the Human Resources (HR) Director located on-site in Baltimore, Maryland and will be the primary strategic partner and leader for the MS Operations’ HR organization in Northrop Grumman’s Mission Systems sector. The HR Director will act as primary interface to the MS Operations Vice President of Airborne Multifunction Systems (AMS) division and will also lead a team of HR business partners who directly and indirectly support more than 3,800 MS Operations non-union employees primarily in Maryland as well as key geographic locations across the United States.
We are seeking a proven human resources leader to provide thought leadership and demonstrated ability to coach and influence at the executive level. The selected candidate will assist in the development and implementation of HR strategic priorities and will partner with executive leaders to build organizational capability to meet financial and strategic goals, including leading through change to drive cultural and people changes in support of the business strategy.
The selected candidate will be expected to develop and deploy a human capital strategy and related processes across the organization. The candidate must have strong relationship building skills and a proven track record of building collaborative partnerships to influence direction and drive change across complex organizations. Responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to: talent strategy development and deployment; talent management; change management; project management; leadership development; organization design; staffing and talent acquisition; talent retention; diversity, inclusion and employee engagement; compensation oversight; and employee relations.
