POSITION SUMMARY:
In this role, the HR Benefits Specialist focus will be to assist on retirement plans as well as health & welfare benefits as well as carries out HR policies and functions in a variety of areas, including:
401k/pension
Vanguard
Interactions with Vendors
Benefits Administration
Administration of DBL, PFL, WC
Employee Relations as needed
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
Expert proficiency and experience in Benefits administration, HR Generalist or HR Manager level of experience
Strong skill set in Corporate Responsibility with regards to 401k/pension
Excellent organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills
Strong analytical skills including the ability to research, analyze and make recommendations
Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills
Flexibility, adaptability, and a readiness to jump in and contribute
Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS and payroll system(s) experience preferred
Availability during typical business hours, Monday – Friday.
PHR/SHRM-CP Certification or other related certifications desired (i.e. CEBS, CCP)
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
At least five (5) years progressive HR Generalist experience is required.
At least three (3) years benefits administration and 401k pension experience
Bachelor s Degree in Human Resources, Business or related field, or Associates Degree with commensurate experience required.
