Receptionist / HR Assistant
Job Summary:
The Receptionist/HR Assistant will greet, assist, and provide direction and information to customers, visitors, and other guests of Valcor.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Greets customers, visitors, and guests; determines the purpose of each person’s visit and directs or escorts him or her to the appropriate location.
· Answers, screens, and directs phone calls to staff and schedules appointments as necessary.
· Schedules meetings on behalf of executives, keeping calendar events for the COO.
· Responsible for employee events, such as Company Picnic, Christmas Luncheon, onsite Monthly Food Truck, etc.
· Assist with the selection of company gift and giveaways, including company store for the Holidays.
· Assist with employee surveys and compile results.
· Assist with recruitment and interview process. Tracks status of candidates in ADP applicant tracking.
· Prepares correspondence as requested.
· Prepares new-employee onboarding and benefit enrollment information.
· Receives mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries and delivers or distributes items.
· Performs administrative and clerical support tasks.
· Performs basic filing and recordkeeping.
· Performs other duties as required.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Excellent verbal communication skills.
· Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
· Basic understanding of administrative and clerical procedures and systems.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
· Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
· Extensive knowledge of office administration, clerical procedures, and recordkeeping systems.
Education and Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk.
· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
