Qualifications
Specialized Experience:
To qualify for the GS-13 level, you must possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service, or comparable experience not gained through Federal service.
You must have one year of specialized experience that has provided the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position.
Additionally, Such Experience Could Be Gained From
For this position, specialized experience is defined as supporting ongoing or emerging substantive intelligence collection and dissemination activities in any established homeland security intelligence related specialty area. Such experience may include conducting a variety of complex assignments within his/her area of responsibility and conducting and directing in-depth research and analysis in support of homeland security.
Working with state and local partners to create communities of interest and support information-sharing to ensure national and homeland security information is shared bi-directionally with the Intelligence Community.

Education is not required for this position.
Additional Information
This is a permanent appointment position that is classified in the Excepted Service under Title 50 and will be filled on a full-time permanent basis. Employees hired under an Excepted Service appointment may be required to serve a two (2) year trial period.
